PAST GRAND KNIGHTS / ST PATRICK’S DAY DINNER

                Friday  March 19, 2010, at 6PM at Monocacy Manor, 395 Bridle Path Rd, Bethlehem.  From Route 512 (Center Street) turn west onto Bridle Path Road, proceed over steel-trestle bridge, at bottom of hill look for “School Sisters of St. Francis” sign on left and turn left at the sign into the driveway.  Proceed up the driveway to the top of the hill to the second large building on the left (three stories, metal doors) directly opposite the former school building.

MENU: Choice of: Chicken Piccata, Salmon with Pesto Sauce,
                                or Linguini

                 Cost:  $20 per person

Call Brother Len Verrastro at 610-691-5698 as soon as possible so we can give our Chef a count.  This is our yearly opportunity to thank all of our past Grand Knights for their service to our Council, and especially to  Brother Phil Comito our immediate Past Grand Knight for all his hard work.  We have combined
the event with our St. Patricks’s Day Party so come and partake in two celebrations for the price of one, all in the spirit of unity and fraternity with your Brother Knights.  Perhaps winter is finally over, so it is a good time to finally venture outside and celebrate that too.

 Council 313 will once again be assisting St Anne’s Parish at their Lenten Fish Fry on Friday night March 26, 2010. Please stop by and join us.

On Sunday, March 7^th our Council once again arrived bright and early in the morning to help Notre Dame Parish conduct their Sunday breakfast.

Knights Night Out:

We have a trip planned for Friday, June 4, 2010 @ 7:00 PM to see the Iron Pigs take on the Charlotte Knights (appropriately enough) at Coca-Cola Park. Cost for the event is $10 per person. Children under 2 are free, but must sit on a ticket holder’s lap. Post game fireworks and a group raffle are also included. Each ticket comes with a $2 return voucher that can be used to purchase food, beverages, or merchandise!

IN REMEMBRANCE

Let us remember in our prayers Council 313 Brother and former council officer Scott Bear who died March 1^st, and Past State Deputy and good friend to Council 313 and to all Knights F. Parker Lessel PSD who died March 2nd.  May their souls and the souls of all the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
